Harvey Mudd College, founded in 1955, is the Claremont College known for its world renowned Mathematics, Science, and Engineering departments. Originally designed by Edward Durell Stone, many of the buildings are adorned with distinctive square "warts" that have become the unofficial mascot of HMC. With a campus center under construction, students eagerly await the opening of Harvey Mudd's new centerpiece next year.
