The Forum Needs YOU
The Forum has big plans for the coming year, and we'd like you to be a part of them. Interested in being a part of our team? The Forum is now accepting applications for the following positions:
- Writer- Dying to share your journalism talents with the student body? Have something on your mind that you want to share? Apply to be a Writer with the Forum and contribute to one (or all) of three sections: News, Opinion, and Life. We are looking for people to contribute at least once every two weeks. To apply, simply write us an article (in 400 to 500 words) that you'd like to see published in the Forum and send it to firstname.lastname@example.org. If we like it, the Forum will publish your work and hire you for the position. No cover letters or resumes please. Writers are paid per article with performance bonuses.
- Photographer- Love taking pictures? We would love to put them up on the Forum. The application is simple. Send us some pictures that you have taken around CMC to email@example.com. We will put them up and hire you! Photographers are given a stipend for their work.
- Business Manager- Are you an expert salesman? Good at handling finances? Like finalizing deals and contracts? This is the position for you. The Forum is looking for someone to handle advertising for the website and other financial aspects of the Forum. To apply, please send a resume to firstname.lastname@example.org. Business Managers are paid on commission
- Webmaster- We need help with technology! Our current tech team is graduating or going abroad and we are looking for more people. Requirements include basic coding knowledge, experience with websites and other aspects of technology. To apply, please send a resume to email@example.com. The Webmaster is given a stipend.
