What kills me about the new website are the redundant “Admission” and “Apply” tabs in the top menu. Wouldn’t just one of those options suffice?

In the event CMC needed more motivation to build a world class website…

From the TSL:

“For the past nine months, Pomona’s communications office has been working furiously to redesign the official Pomona College Web site..

‘[The look and feel] is totally out of the box,’ Hengesbach said. ‘It will be a completely new design.’
…

“‘This will win awards,’ Hengesbach said. ‘There’s so much stuff beyond just [the visuals] that makes this site just rock solid.’”

If CMC gets a C-, Pomona gets at best an F. It’s ugly and hard to use. It’s now clearly the worst website of the 5Cs, which I have to say, I’m a little happy about.

Yes, please bring back Claremont Confessions, because I don’t have a low enough opinion of the other students here. What you really want is a way to trash the people around you without having your name attached.

No one’s stopping you from buying a domain name and creating a Claremont Confessions, except you’d have to stop writing anonymous comments about your friends long enough to learn how to code it.
