		<description>wow, you know whats scary in these financials? it seems like we had a significant part of our endowment invested with our most successful alums (kkr, tcw, pimco, etc...) (see page 46 of Y2007 form 990 on guidestar- section titled &quot;self-dealing statement&quot;). that would seem to me like a terribly short sighted strategy. id like to know more about the size of these investments and whether this is a common practice of other colleges and universities. regardless of how common it is, who thought it was a good idea to make the financial health of the college even more dependent than it already is on the continued success of its most wealthy alums? maybe this person should be considered among the newly expendable.</description>
