Dear students,

Just wanted to update you that we have heard you and agree that CMC students should have access to financial aid for CMC summer courses and that it makes sense to change our prices to be more in line with nearby institutions. Hope this comes as good news if you have been contemplating taking a summer course on campus.

Yes, I agree with Charles. Many questions remain unanswered:

How do young toddlers learn a language in such a short amount of time?

Why is the CMC Forum illustrating this article with a picture of Bauer Center?? Does that mean they know something we don't??

Furthermore, how did the CMC Forum shrink the Bauer Center to such a small size?? Why is there no report as to HOW the Bauer Center could fit on my computer screen??

When the CMC Forum says that calculus may be one of the summer courses offered, do they KNOW that "lying tangent to a curve" can also be used as sexual innuendo??

Can we rename the forum Charles Johnson's Redundant Emporium. C'mon now man. If I wanted to know your opinion about every little thing I'd hit up your personal blog. If you have an argument with someone about nit picky editorial details go take it up with them personally. I don't like reading my fellow students thoughts on an article only to have the flow broken up by quarrels between you and just about everyone else, which all seem to be started by you. Just go away, and don't bother responding to this, you tarnished your own reputation with your repetitive posts on each and every article. I'm ignoring any post by you ever from now on. I suggest my fellow readers follow suit.

I'm not saying that you wrote an official Public Affairs release, but I'm saying you wrote a PR story for the program. There were a lot of questions you could have asked, but you did not. Among these are:

How can you learn a language in the very short time period? How can you become proficient in a course, like calculus, in such a short time period? Couldn't it be that people take summer school classes at their local community college or college because it is cheaper? These were all things discussed during the meetings. A good news story would have also raised questions about the program.

Public Affairs was in no way involved in the reporting of this story. Information for the post came directly from the Dean of Faculty's office
