Photoessay: CMC Art Week

CMC just wrapped up its first official Art Week and Forum photographers were able to get pictures of the festivities. Check out these shots of students painting a tarp for a paint party — even John Faranda broke out his brush for the event.

There are some more pics on the forum Flickr. http://www.flickr.com/photos/cmcforum/sets/ Granted we should have done a better job of documenting all the various activities that were put on by the arts council.

  • what art

art week was a complete joke.

seriously, putting giant toothpicks through oranges in the middle of north quad? or throwing a bunch of candy on the ground near the bench closest to wohlford?

if i had been visiting the school during that week, i would be 100% turned off by CMC. There are lots of talented artists here, but what i saw hurt my eyes.

    • yup

My thoughts exactly. Although I was hoping maybe I got there too late to see the good stuff. Cuz all I saw was the oranges, a backpack taped to a tree, some toys in the pond. Some stuff I couldn’t tell if it was for art week or regular north quad-er decor
