I use to work at starbucks as a summer job and these tips are a good start but I always recommend ordering something “upside down”, esp. the caramel macchiato (hot or cold; it changes the ratio a bit and is great for caramel lovers). Also, try the passion tea lemonaid blended and sweetened with raspberry (ask for no ice, the mixings are already cold so you really don’t need cubes).

As an aside, my grandma used to get lemonade by ordering a free tap water, using a ton of lemons from the condiment bar, and adding sugar/sweet n low/splenda. It won’t work at starbucks but its a cheap way to get a drink at chipotle. Its also works at mudd and is much better than the lemonade they have on tap.

This is the only thing I will say.

The Ghetto Latte is not classy. Just sayin’. The condiment bar is a condiment bar for a reason. It is not an invitation for you to use all the half-and-half. It is aggravating to your fellow customers, and if you can’t afford the drink you want, maybe you shouldn’t be ordering it.

You know, you could save even more money by brewing your own coffee at home.
