8:27 Procrastination: Sandwich monsters

An entire website dedicated to the art of sandwiches– their ingredients, different combinations, the very aesthetic of this culinary craft!

Maybe we’re sleep deprived, but looking at all these halved sandwiches had us visualized monsters, animals, or faces out of the pictures. Does this one look like Nemo? No? Not at all?sandwich

OMG. That’s a traditional Vietnamese sandwich in that picture and if you’ve never had one, you must go out and try one ASAP. They’re delish. (And nope, a Collins version doesn’t count.)

(Close restaurant that serves said sandwich and it’s cheap: Pho Ha on Indian Hill in Pomona.)

Seconding the banh mi (name of said sandwish) supremacy! However, Pho Ha sucks for everything else Vietnamese. The REAL best place is the Pho Ha on Foothill in Rancho Cucamonga. Same owners, better cooks.

Vietnam is the greatest country in the world. All other countries are run by little girls.

Oops. Second best. America is the best country.
