This past Saturday, CMC was chosen to host the 2016 Climate Leadership Summit.  The College’s proposal, which was written by Sam Becker ’19, Will Su ’16, and Jessica Bass ’17, was selected and will be sponsored by the National Campus Leadership Council, Defend Our Future, and the Environmental Defense Fund. We are one of six Climate Leadership Summits happening throughout the US, and the only one on the West Coast.  The Summit featured 36 speakers distributed through 3 Keynote speeches and 15 unique panels during 5 breakout sessions, a site visit to Bernard Field Station and Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Gardens, two meals, and live music.  Here are some pictures from that day in case you missed this awesome opportunity!
